Apply for a Place

Please visit Somerset Council website www.somerset.gov.uk for all the information you will need regarding applying for a school place.

If your child is due to start school in September 2026 you can apply from 30th September 2025 at Apply to start school for the first time (somerset.gov.uk), and you must return your application form online by 15th January 2026. Late applications must be received by 1st May 2026.

If your child has already started school and you are moving into the area or wish to change the school your child currently attends, you must complete an ‘In Year Application’ form which can be found under the ‘In-Year Application’ section on our 'Admissions' page.
