At Wembdon St George’s Church School, we pride ourselves as being a culturally rich community which celebrates our Christian distinctiveness. We are located on the outskirts of the rapidly expanding town of Bridgwater, in the village of Wembdon. We dedicate our efforts to providing our children with a wealth of skills and knowledge which promote a strong sense of self belief and high aspirations for the future.

Our holistic curriculum philosophy stems from our school value system, which facilitates our children with exciting learning opportunities and promotes a love of lifelong learning.

Our curriculum offers the children the opportunity to lead learning, it is adaptive and responsive to their current stage of development and learning, reacting to a range of feedback given by all stakeholders.

Children will leave our school as global citizens with independent behaviours derived from a love of learning including reading, a zest for enquiry and problem-based learning and a confidence in working collaboratively.
